Many engineering students are unaware about the various research opportunities that they can take advantage of while studying at UCLA. Rather than solely focus on internships and experience within the industry, this event can help provide information on an alternative option to gain knowledge and experience working in computer science. We will go over the different ways to get into CS research at UCLA. Panelists with research experience will talk about their journey into research and how it compares to industry internships. The goal of this talk is to give information about research from a student’s perspective.
