The focus of this event is for freshmen to begin thinking about what they can do over their first year summer early on. We want to emphasize that internships at large tech companies aren’t the only way to go, there are endless lists of ways to stay productive during their first year summer, such as research and personal projects. We will invite 4 panelists who are accomplished students to share what they did in the summer of their first year. This event will be open to the general UCLA population interested in a CS career.
