BIO:

Paulo Corvalan is a Cybersecurity Engineer who partners with Developers and Software Engineers to enhance and secure Viasat’s home-grown software embedded into the devices that makes satellite and airlines in-flight Wi-Fi internet communication possible. Since childhood Paulo has been a tinkerer, curious to learn more about how “stuff” works. Such curiosity and drive to make things better have taken him to discover, develop and deploy solutions to gain visibility on business processes that were otherwise buried on a sea of convoluted data.

Paulo work history includes IT support for Kodak, and Systems Analysis for General Atomics Aeronautical Systems. Additionally, he is a member of Infragard, a partnership between the FBI and members of the private sector, which provides a pathway of collaboration between the public-private sector and the government to promote opportunities to anticipate attacks against Critical Infrastructure

Paulo Corvalan holds a BS in Computer Information Technology with a concentration in Software Development from Southern New Hampshire University, and a MS in Cybersecurity Operations from the University of San Diego.
