2024 Amazon Fellows Lightning Talks: Presentations by 14 Amazon Fellows

Abstract:
In 2021, Amazon and UCLA first collaborated to establish the Science Hub for Humanity and Artificial Intelligence. Each year, the Science Hub Advisory Group selects a group of PhD students from within the Samueli School of Engineering to be that year’s Amazon Fellows. In May 2024, the Science Hub Advisory Group selected their fourth annual group of Amazon Fellows, 14 PhD students selected from a highly competitive applicant pool of 24 students from across the Samueli School.

In this round of lightning talks, each fellow will present their research, which spans machine learning, natural language processing, robotics, and beyond, followed by a brief Q&A session.
