Postdoctoral researcher Dr. Zhe Chen was one of eight recipients of the 2019 Chancellor’s Award for Postdoctoral Research. Established in 1998, this award recognizes the important contributions made by postdoctoral scholars to UCLA’s research mission.
Under the supervision of Prof. Jason Cong from Computer Science Department and Professor Hugh T. Blair from Psychology Department, Dr. Chen devotes his postdoctoral research efforts to using customizable computing to advance the real-time closed-loop neurofeedback for the brain-machine interface.
