Congratulations to second year computer science students Bryan Chiang and Daniel Ciao and computer science and engineering students Lucas Xia and Max Wu for winning an award with their application submission, Rove, at the Call for Code 2019 Global Challenge. Their app was second runner-up, and the team received $25,000. Rove helps cut down on emergency responders’ response time by analyzing their information, using satellite imagery technology and providing accessible routes for the responders. The app was also given continued open-source project support to allow other developers to contribute to its ongoing evolution. (https://developer.ibm.com/blogs/call-for-code-2019-finalist-rove/)
