Difan Zou, a doctoral student at UCLA Computer Science, was named the 2020-2021 Bloomberg Data Science Fellow. Zou is being honored for his research that complements the ongoing artificial intelligence research at Bloomberg. The fellows receive financial support and professional resources that aid them throughout their academic years culminating in the completion of their doctoral degree.
Zou is a member of the UCLA Statistical Machine Learning Lab (UCLA-ML), led by the department’s faculty member Quanquan Gu.
