Research Focus: Our research focuses on developing techniques for solving the challenging computational problems that arise in attempting to understand the genetic basis of human disease. We are affiliated with both the Computer Science and the Human Genetics departments and are part of the new UCLA Bioinformatics Ph.D. Program. Directions to Office/Lab:
My office and the lab (ZarLab) is located in the on the 2nd Floor of the Math Science Building on the UCLA Campus. Math Science Building is directly north and connected to Boelter Hall. Since portions of the 2nd floor of the building are not connected to each other, the easiest way to get to the lab is from Boelter Hall. First go to the west most (outside) balcony on the 2nd floor of Boelter hall and follow the balcony north until it ends. After entering Math Sciences through the door at the end of the balcony, our lab is directly past the elevators.
