THE TREVOR PROJECT
What do all these organizations have in common? They’ll be attending QWER Hacks!
QWER Hacks is UCLA’s first LGBTQIA hackathon, happening January 25-26, 2020 in Ackerman Grand Ballroom! For 24 hours, around 250 amazing student hackers (that’s you!!) will work together to create fantastic and innovative products that will help underrepresented groups in STEM.
Through empowering talks from queer individuals in tech, technical and diversity & inclusion workshops, and the development of new products, QWER Hacks aims to increase the visibility of and celebrate the queer + trans community in STEM, as well as engage and bring together queer + trans individuals and allies. Hackers of all levels (and all identities) are welcome! We will be holding workshops throughout the entire hack to help hackers learn about artificial intelligence, web development, edtech, and more!
Anyone is welcome to attend, including allies! You can register here: https://tinyurl.com/qwerhacks. Applications are due December 20th.
