High School Summer Outreach: Los Angeles Computing Circle

Computer Science Graduate Student Association will be coordinating the Summer School program officially
known as Los Angeles Computing Circle (LACC-2019). LACC is a 4-week program with classes on UCLA Campus.

The program is targetted towards high school students (incoming Grade 10-12) and is completely free.
The instructors are mostly Ph.D. and Master students.

LACC is organized as a set of modules, each with a lecture and hands-on software laboratory.
LACC participants go from learning fundamentals all the way to developing advanced apps.

Module topics will be selected from:
Programming with Python, Algorithms, Web Services, Database, Machine Learning,
Image Processing, Energy and Speed of Computing, IoT, Robotics, Cryptography.

If you are interested to propose a new module, we are very happy to include it.

If you know anybody (High School Students, Parent, Schools, Kid next door!!) who can benefit from the program, please forward them the details.

In LACC-2018, we had 17 Students from 15 different schools.
