Steve VanDeBogart I'm a graduate student in computer science at UCLA working with Eddie Kohler on libprefetch and previously on Asbestos. Libprefetch is the implemenation of a new storage interface that dramatically improves the perfromance of nonsequential diks accesses. Asbestos is a prototype operating system that has data protection and privacy as its primary concern.
