Cryptography has been my main area of research since my early days as a doctoral student. I remain captivated by the breadth, depth, and beauty of our field. I view IACR conferences as permier venues for dissemination of cryptographic research.

In serving as an IACR director, my objectives are to:

• Maintain and strengthen high standards of quality in all IACR conferences and workshops. Options including larger PC's, longer time windows for careful evaluation of submissions, and more interactive evaluation processes should all be considered carefully.
• Encourage academic and industry careers focused on cryptographic research.
• Promote a broad and inclusive view of the field of cryptography. IACR conferences should highlight the best research from a variety of areas and perspectives.

I have published over two dozen papers at CRYPTO/EuroCrypt, and several more at other IACR venues, as well as served on the PC's of several IACR conferences, and presented invited talks at conferences including PKC 2009. I am a panelist and invited speaker at the upcoming National Science Foundation (NSF) Workshop on the Future of Trusted Computing.
