The NDN project has entered its third year! We are busy developing more applications over NDN to force out architectural details to be filled in and, most importantly, verifies and shapes the architectural direction.

Here is a collection of old papers, a rather incomplete cumulation of our understanding on networking over the years.

Some of My Current Research Interests:

• Network Architecture Design: How many necessary pieces and how do we know they are necessary?
• Network Protocol Designs: Let's start collecting a set of principles from past successes and lessons.
• How to Secure Large Scale and Open Systems, such as the Domain Name System (DNS) and global Internet routing infrastructure?
  • There is a rich literature on cryptographic-based designs to secure distributed systems; there is also an increasing volume of work on securing large scale systems via non-crypto-based approaches. We are working on bootstrapping crypto-defenses through non-crypto means.
