The purpose of designing this web site is to try making learning mathematics fun. The idea is to introduce mathematical concepts to elementary school children using visual-oriented aids.

There are 4 sets of documents contained in this site. Each set consists of an introduction to a mathematical concept, along with an excerpt compiled from She Does Math! by Marla Parker. The purpose of including the excerpts is to encourage children, especially female students, to learn math through real life successful examples.
