Turlif studied at Texas A&M University School of Architecture and the University of Pittsburgh Film School. He has traveled in Brazil and Japan and works as a freelance 3D Studio animator. He currently has a public radio show, The Rhythm of Life, which plays world music. Otherwise, he is hiking up a mountain or hanging from some rock face.
