Directions
Getting to Roosevelt Island
is easier than you might have thought.
By Subway
Take the F train
to Roosevelt Island, make a right exiting the subway station,
and walk along Main Street. The gallery is located at 529 Main
Street.
By Cable Car / Tram
There is a Tram connecting
Roosevelt Island to Manhattan at 59th Street and 2nd Avenue.
For a $1.50 you can enjoy the aerial view of Manhattan, Queens,
and Roosevelt Island. Upon landing on Roosevelt Island just
walk North along Main Street. Alternatively you can also board
a red bus for 25 cents, and take it two short stops.
By Car
There is a bridge to Roosevelt
Island from Queens at 36th Avenue. While street parking is limited,
there is ample parking in the central garage, immediately after
the bridge.
