Welcome to my homepage! I am currently a Research Staff Member at IBM T.J. Watson Research Center. I received my Ph.D. degree from the Department of Computer Science at UCLA in 2006, during which I was affiliated with the Wireless Networking Group (WiNG). My research interests include secure and resilient protocol design for both wired and wireless networks, high-performance wireless networking, and scalable event-driven distributed systems.

I have a broad interest in many aspects of network and system research which include, but not limited to:

  • Internet naming resolution (DNS) and routing (BGP) security
  • Wireless ad-hoc and sensor network security
  • High-performance wireless networking
  • Scalable event-driven distributed systems
  • Healthcare informatics
