I am a Post-doctoral Center Fellow in the Department of Computer Science at Univ. of California, Los Angeles working with Amit Sahai. I was a Computing Innovation Fellow for 2011-2013. I am interested in Cryptography and Algorithms; with special emphasis on Multi-party Computation and Information-theoretic Cryptography.

I completed my Ph.D. from Department of Computer Science at Univ. of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign. My thesis advisor was Manoj Prabhakaran and my dissertation is titled " On Computational Intractability Assumptions in Cryptography".

I completed my undergraduate education in Computer Science from Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur. Later, I joined IBM Research - India as a Research Trainee. During those years, I dabbled in Evolutionary Algorithms and Statistical Machine Translation.

On the job market: This academic year (2014-2015), I will be applying for faculty positions. I would like to obtain an appointment as tenure-track faculty at a research university starting Fall 2015.
