Hemanta K. Maji

Currently, I am a Post-doctoral Researcher (CI Fellow) in the Department of Computer Science at Univ. of California, Los Angeles. I am interested in Cryptography and Algorithms; with special emphasis on Multi-party Computation and Black-box Separation.

Recently, I completed by PhD from Department of Computer Science at Univ. of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign. My thesis advisor was Manoj Prabhakaran and my dissertation is titled "On Computational Intractability Assumptions in Cryptography".

I completed my undergraduate education in Computer Science from Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur. Later, I joined IBM Research - India as a Research Trainee. During those years, I dabbled in Evolutionary Algorithms and Statistical Machine Translation.
