I recently saw this STUPID
article posted on digg.com. I was so moved by the author's total constriction of
his sphincter (i.e. he's an anal P.O.S.) that I felt I had to come out of blogging-retirement.
For those of you who don't want to be bothered w/ douche bags, let me summarize: this tool basically thinks
that blogging posts are, "not worth the bytes they take up." I suppose irony is lost on this
imbecile, as he said this on a friggin' blog!
lol... Hey captain stupid! You shouldn't drill holes in a ship's hull if you're on the friggin' ship.
I won't belabor this point any further, except to say that stupid people suck! Can I get an amen?

The post was actually about how stupid blogs written by intelligent people are very succesful. Just as stupid newspapers or TV shows are. It is not mean to slag off blogging, merely point out that going after the lowest common denominator is where a lot of success lies. IE. McDonanalds etc.

Fair enough, but: 1 - I'm a grad student, cutting back on caffeine is about as realistic as doing something meaningful with my life. ;) 2 - I suppose irony was lost in this post somewhere. Not to sully my own blog with an intelligent comment, but my point was to produce the exact type of flame that you decried, but with added humor. That way I hoped to make your point, but by making people laugh (well, hopefully) I also counter your point too... Eh... :-P |
