Hi, welcome to my homepage. My name is Yong Cao. I am also called Tom by my friends. Now I am a Ph.D. student in Department of Computer Science, University of California Los Angeles (UCLA). I am working with my advisor Petros Faloutsos in MAGIX (Modeling, Animation and GrafIX) lab . Frederic Pighin is my co-advisor, because I have been working with him at Institute for Creative Technologies (ICT), USC since June 2002.
My current research topic is computer animation, specificlly character animation. I got my Bachelor degree in Computer Sciences in 1997 from University of Science and Technology of China (USTC, China) and Master degree in Pattern Recognition in 2000 from Institute of Automation, Chinese Academy of Sciences.
