According to Bruce E Rosen:
|
| Im trying to get data off the web every 5 minutes or so.
| Right now I have a shell program running on oahu collecting data,
| but since it looks like oahu is going away, Id like to run
| my program on another machine. Unfortunatley, my filesystem
| is on kiwi, and Im trying to avoid running programs on kiwi,
| even though this one doesnt take up much cpu time and runs ever
| 5 minutes or so for just a few seconds each time. Is there
| another computer that has my filesystem mounted on it that
| I can run my data acquiring program on? (Other than oahu and
| kiwi?)
| thanks

You can try to run your programs on any one of those computers in the
workstation room or on osprey. As long as you renice your jobs to
+10 or so.
