SPECIAL SESSION: CS Academic Fields Course Guidelines

This special session is designed to help students understand the core knowledge needed to specialize in a particular field, the classes UCLA offers, and the suggested sequence of classes as follows:

(1) The core “knowledge” needed to specialize in the field

(2) The classes that are being offered in the department as well as their topics and dependency

(3) Other relevant classes from other departments (Stats, Math or EE) so that students can expand their knowledge

Each presentation will be 10 minutes by a faculty member from each field.

Masters and Ph.D. students will benefit from this presentation in planning their study.
