The CS M152A and CS M152B laboratories are required courses for CS, CSE and EE-CE majors. Since their capacity is limited by the amount of equipment available, students may have to wait one or two quarters before they get in. Therefore I recommend that you try to enroll as early as possible. Every year I receive messages from students nearing graduation, saying that they could not get enrolled or on the waitlist for these labs. For those with compelling problems, there is still a good chance you can get in. We try to reserve approximately 8 slots in each lab where enrollment is done directly by the Office of Academic and Student Affairs (OASA). If you cannot get enrolled or on the wait list of any of the laboratory sections, you can email enrollme@ea.ucla.edu. The OASA will check your records to confirm your stated need and enroll as many students as there is space available on the basis of priority. Graduating seniors are given highest priority for these slots followed by other seniors and then juniors.
