The Computer Science Department congratuates graduate students Tomer Weiss, Alan Litteneker, Chenfanfu Jiang and their advisor Demetri Terzopoulos on a Best Paper Award for “Position-Based Multi-Agent Dynamics for Real-Time Crowd Simulation” from the ACM SIGGRAPH Conference on Motion in Games 2017 (8 –10 November 2017 in Barcelona, Spain).

The goal of the Motion in Games Conference is to bring together researchers from a variety of fields to present their most recent results, to initiate collaborations, and to contribute to the establishment of the research area. Motion is currently studied in many different areas of research, including graphics and animation, game technology, robotics, simulation, computer vision, and also physics, psychology, and urban studies.
